Our Work
The Showroom
Queen Anne revival architecture
A beacon of historic Queen Anne revival architecture, this three-and-a-half-storey historic family house reflects the formerly affluent neighbourhood enclave.
Community-oriented design
The Vancouver Cohousing project is Vancouver’s first cohousing initiative, part of a rapidly growing design philosophy that combines the autonomy of private dwellings with the advantages of shared resources and community living to support happier, stronger communities
Whistler après-ski landmark
Whistler Brewhouse has become a mainstay of the village and a landmark for après skiers and international visitors. Our design encapsulates the spirit of Whistler-Blackcomb: a delicate balance between luxury and rustic
Distinctly Westcoast style
From humble beginnings in the early 2000s, Central City Brewers and Distillers quickly became a favourite brewer in B.C.’s exploding microbrewing industry and outgrew its production facilities. We were asked to design a bold, 65,000 square foot brewery and distillery that could both deliver technically and aesthetically.
50’s inspired brewery
A unique, state-of-the-art brewery and pub in the heart of Vancouver’s craft brewery district that reflects the Red Truck Brewing Company’s bold, snappy 1950s-inspired character.
Inspired oceanfront design
Newport at Westbeach is an ultra-modern building design that seamlessly integrates with its seaside surroundings through expansive use of glass, spacious terraces, balconies, and rooftop gardens.
Graceful steps in natural environment
The Terraces project celebrates a collective human connection with the natural environment. Nestled into the Port Moody hillside, the Terraces site is graced with views of the city skyline and the North Shore mountains.
Juxtaposition of old and new
Delivering a distinct design that celebrates the building’s industrial roots and historic significance while redefining the building’s potential for urban living by adding an annex with 16 ultra-modern, concrete and glass live-work suites.
Preserving heritage value
The Dorothies are a set of charming, mirrored twin houses constructed between 1931 and 1932 in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood of Vancouver
Bridging scale and density
Situated in the city of White Rock, the project proposes a collection of stacked townhomes arranged in a courtyard typology. The site is located directly adjacent a high-rise development, the first of its kind in the neighbourhood which creates an immediate jump in scale and density from the comparatively low-rise, single-family context.
Facilitating community and connection
Compass Co-Housing facilitates community, connection and stewardship within a cohousing community that prioritizes outdoor living and urban agriculture.
Bold design, natural materials
A timeless, high quality West Coast design on the sandy shores of the Salish Sea that will withstand the tests of the surrounding harsh ocean climate and introduce a new sensitive yet appropriate design theme for an area that hadn’t seen new development for several decades.
Colourful, dynamic rental housing
This animated project will provide 83 units of much needed 100% rental housing contained in a very uncomplicated, yet dynamic, 6 storey, rectangular massing.
Quality family oriented rental housing
To create high quality, family oriented rental housing that fits into the unique character and diverse social fabric of the Grandview Woodland community.
Modern take on industrial conversion
A distinct design that celebrates the building’s industrial roots and historic significance while redefining the building’s potential for urban living by adding two storeys of contemporary, compatible lofts.
Preserving historic value, scale & feel
The project, Hampton Court, at W 16th Ave and Wolfe Ave preserves a historic home, adapting it’s large and outdated floor plans into three new modern residences
Family oriented, Village-like
A family-oriented and village-like development with a commitment to sustainable design, targeting LEED Platinum Certification.
Dramatic Renovation
Redeveloping a tired, aging building while diverting 75% of original building materials from the landfill and falling into step with the casual, village like character of ‘the Drive’.
Industrial Chic
To design an urban multi family development that maximizes space and achieves an industrial chic balance.
Reflecting local artsy identity
Bringing identity and vitality to a diverse, rapidly transitioning neighbourhood while enhancing community identity through thoughtful architectural design.
